ENLIGHTENED TUTORS & NANNIES

A Bespoke Tutoring & Nanny Service

Due to the school disruptions caused by the pandemic, many  families are considering private tutors and nannies for enrichment, reinforcement and familial support. We recommend families who are hoping to have a Private Educator or Nanny/Family Assistant, to begin the search process as soon as possible to ensure that they have ample time to find the ideal candidate for their family’s needs!

We invite you to get in touch with us today to schedule a call, learn more about our educator and nanny services, or ask any other questions.

Mary Stadnick
Founder and Director of Enlightened Tutors & Nannies

I come to caregiving leadership with over a decade of experience in community service and a lifelong love of community and learning. For the past ten years, I have served variously as a mentor, advisor, caregiver and volunteer coordinator for multiple volunteer programs for both at risk youth and the elderly. I have launched a volunteer phone buddy program for Seniors during the pandemic called Senior Buddies, worked as an Art Dealer, as well as served as a Client/Caregiver Manager for a professional home care agency.

I grew up in Miami, graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Barry University, and moved to Sag Harbor in 2015. At the beginning of the pandemic, I felt that there was a need for more help for families and teachers to find a safer learning environment during this time (and with their best matches!). I knew that I had the background and passion to help and wanted to create another good service option, so I started our first agency, Enlightened Tutors. Following Enlightened Tutors’ success, we decided to launch a sister agency called Enlightened Nannies, an agency for families who need a great Nanny. With experiences as both a volunteer and professional caregiving leader, I am passionate about caregiving leadership and caregiver pairing for both businesses and non-profits. We go above and beyond for each family and caregiver, and we pride ourselves on that. We know that a perfect family-nanny match takes time and that each family and caregiver’s needs are unique. For this reason, our lead time for nanny placement is currently 5 – 8 weeks on average. We are passionate about bringing these experiences to bear to provide both our clients and our caregivers with the best service possible.
